Lucie grew up in Malta and the UK – spending a lot of her young life on flights between her two home countries. A devotion to travel unsurprisingly followed, exploring every corner of Europe in her twenties before making extended trips to Asia, Central America and South America throughout her thirties. She has lived nomadically in Croatia, India and Thailand since 2019 when she made the call to leave her career in art galleries and museums and jump into freelance travel writing.
